Revealing the Role of Water Vapour in Methanol Atmospheric Reaction for More Accurate Methods for Predicting Atmospheric Reactions (CUHK - 20200612)

Written by CUHK

Increasing emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is causing us fewer ‘blue sky’ days in recent years. This has something to do with atmospheric reactions involving water vapour and VCOs oxidations. But how? A research team led by Prof. Wei Ren, Faculty of Engineering, CUHK, who just unveiled a novel method for predicting the atmospheric reactions, has the answer to it.
