On 30 September, the Council for Sustainable Development (the Council) launched the public engagement on control of single-use plastics.  The public engagement aims to provide members of the public with information about single-use plastics and explore ways to gradually control non-essential and hard-to-recycle single-use plastic items, for the Council to make recommendations to the Government.

The Council are organizing a series of public engagement session.  The CUHK session will be held as follows:
