United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and TED-Ed launched ‘Earth School’, which provides free, high-quality environmental educational content for students, parents and teachers around the world.

The curated Earth School content features videos, reading materials and activities, which will be translated into 10 languages, to help students gain an understanding of the environment while considering their role within it. The Earth School, opens between 22 April and 5 June 2020, takes students on a 30-day online ‘Adventure’ through the natural world.

Online education and learning platform edX is offering its Online Campus Programme for free to support colleges and universities worldwide to teach during COVID-19 times. Any accredited institution may apply for free access to hundreds of edX online courses through 30 June 2020. Use the programme to expand the online curriculum and enroll students in hundreds of core and emerging topics relevant to their academic success.

Leading participating institutions include SDG Academy, Columbia University, Harvard University, MIT, University of California Berkeley and many more.
